Ulrike Franzen

Ulrike Franzen (Dipl.-Troph.) works as supervisor and coach certified by Systemic Association in Germany, as well as mental and communication trainer in business, educational and private settings. Her background is in Systems Theory and Gestalt Pedagogy. The latter she studied at the Fritz Pearls Institute in Germany. Her most influential mentors had been Doctor Ann Wilson-Schaef and Professor Heinz Kersting. Ulrike's approach is holistic, combining depth-psychological and gestalt-pedagogical theories with meditation, imagery and storytelling. Her passion is in providing solution-focused consulting in order to support people to become their fullest self

Sandra Sneiderman

sandraSandra Sneiderman, has an M.A. from the Expressive Therapies program from Lesley University with a specialization in Dance Movement Therapy and a B.S. in Sociology from the University of Maine. Using a humanistic approach with body oriented psychotherapies, an eclectic creative approach, and systemic, relational and existential philosophies, she is interested in the interplay between the mind and body and using creativity as a vehicle for self-expression and transformation.   She has experience working with children and adults who have mild to severe developmental disabilities including autism, trauma survivors, teenage parents, adults with mental illness and elders. She is interested in providing support, empowerment and connection through dance/movement and expressive arts helping clients tap into their innate and individual sense of creativity.

Britta Koetting

brittaprofileBritta graduated in May 2011 from the Expressive Therapies Masters program with a specialization in Dance Therapy and Mental Health at Lesley University. After completing her degree in Clinical Psychology in Germany she came to San Francisco, CA, to study Holistic Health. Holistic approaches, which address body, mind and spirit, are most healing to her. Throughout her life, Britta has gained personal and professional experience in psychological-based psychotherapy, family therapy and expressive and spiritual healing practices. In becoming a dance therapist Britta unites her childhood passion for dance with her vocation to be a psychotherapist, a career that came about from the experiences of her journey through life.

ORIGIN MOVEMENT, (501(c)(3) non-profit in the State of Maine) stands for empowering individuals and families through movement and creative arts. Our philosophy follows the humanistic perspective where everyone has an inherent ability to realize their fullest potential and to feel complete. Through creative self-expression, integrating body, mind, and spirit, one will access their original potential. We use dance/ movement, drama, art and music in order to evoke the body's knowledge.
