Authentic Movement for Actors

janusfaceHow often has one seen performers with good technique and excellent training not hold an audience's attention when they are on stage, although they are doing everything they have been taught?

Participants will be introduced into Authentic Movement on an experiential basis. After having experienced the role of the mover as well as the role of the observer (witness), participants will apply their experience to short scenes.

There they will practice "embodying" their allocated character. An integral focus of mover and observer here is to distinguish between character and self.

Movement For Children During Cancer Treatment

danceagainstdisease1We are delighted to propose Dance/ Movement therapy (DMT) as part of your Creative Arts program in order to support well-being during cancer treatment. DMT is provided in group and in individual sessions addressing the psychosocial needs of children with cancer and facilitating greater integration of factors related to coping.
